Hong Kong Tennis Open 2027: main draw or qualifying?
Why does the countdown use January 4?
January 4 is the ATP calendar date retained by this countdown. The Hong Kong, China Tennis Association's 2026/2027 planning document gives a tentative qualifying window of January 3–4, with main-draw play on January 4–10, 2027. These describe different parts of the same event, not competing opening dates. This is an advance plan, not a confirmed daily order of play.
Which Hong Kong tournament and venue is this?
This page is for the men's Bank of China ATP 250 event at Victoria Park Tennis Stadium in Causeway Bay. The same organizer also stages the Prudential women's WTA event in a different week. Check the sponsor, ATP/WTA label and year on your ticket rather than relying on the shared Hong Kong Tennis Open name.
Are 2027 match times and tickets confirmed here?
No. The official tournament schedule still shows January 2026, not a final 2027 timetable, when checked on October 13. Do not carry last year's start times, free-entry rules or ticket prices into 2027. Use the organizer's schedule and ticket navigation when the new edition is published; the date-only countdown is not a session reservation.
