How it works
We count from source-backed dates and keep uncertainty visible. The number stays simple; the evidence stays close by.
01 · Precision
An exact announced time can run to the second. A date-only announcement counts whole calendar days in its governing timezone. We never invent midnight to make a timer look more precise.
Does a countdown include today? Days, sleeps and time zones explained.
02 · Status
Confirmed, provisional, estimated, postponed and cancelled dates are different states. If a date moves, the countdown and its wording move with it.
03 · Sources
Official and organizer sources come first. Every countdown shows the claim we relied on, when it was checked and a direct link to the source.
04 · Schedules
Recurring pages can show stored, source-backed dates beyond the current countdown. Genuinely estimated dates stay labelled as estimates, confirmed dates keep their confirmed status, and we never extrapolate beyond the source-review horizon.
